1.
The
two filters are located on the back of the TEOM control unit. One is for the Main flow and the other is for
the Auxiliary flow.
2.
Change
the filters when the instrument is down for a regular filter changeout.
3.

SiteManager.
4.
Press
the Data Stop button on the front of the TEOM.
5.
Remove
the in-line filter attached to the Main Flow port (pay attention to the filter
position on the tubing). The easiest way
to do this is first to remove the tubing from the quick disconnect fittings. Then remove the quick disconnect fittings
from the filter.
6.
Attach
the quick disconnect fittings to the new filter using new Teflon tape. Then attach the tubing to the new filter the
same way the old filter was removed. The
directional flow arrow on the filter should point away from the control
unit. This is done to make accumulation
visible.
7.
Remove
the in-line filter attached to the Auxiliary Flow port (pay attention to the
filter position on the tubing). The
easiest way to do this is first to remove the tubing from the quick disconnect
fittings. Then remove the quick
disconnect fittings from the filter.

Push
the “Run” button on the front of the control unit to put it back into run mode.
10. Perform a normal leak test.
11. If the leak test is passing then close the Scheduled Maintenance ticket with the time and date of the changeout. Include the Leak Test Values if available.
