  1. Down the channel for PRECIP on the SiteManager screen via “Set Flags” button.
  2. Take the screen out and the cover off the PRECIP bucket. You will see the rocker arm inside.
  3. With you finger, slowly tip the rocker 10 times. (Waiting about 10 seconds between tips.)
  4. Replace the cover and screen in the PRECIP bucket.
  5. Open the “Query Data” located under “Tools” on the toolbar.
  6. Select PRECIP from the drop down box, and hit the “Get Data” button to update. (It may be necessary to wait until the last minute average has updated.)
  7. Add the values for the last 3-4 minutes. This should add up to a total value of 2.54. (If this value is not correct, it may be necessary to adjust the rocker arm by the two small screws located under the PRECIP bucket. Call Plano for instructions.)
  8. Up the PRECIP channel and record your results in the “MetChecks” form found under “StatusForms” on the tool bar.
