FRM 2025 External Leak Check

Purpose:  Follow the steps below to perform FRM 2025 external leak procedure.

Required Equipment:  Screen mesh filter assembly

                                           R&P flow audit adapter

Reference:  SOPMAN

1. Remove the right side collector magazine, cover magazine with protective cap and set aside.

2. Remove the pressure tubing from the bottom of the left side sample magazine and install on the right side.

3. Insert the screen filter magazine into the left side sample position and connect the pressure tubing.

4. From the Main Screen press the Run/Stop button two times.

5. Press the Audit F1 button.

6. Press Menu two times to get the maintenance screen.

7. Using the arrow keys choose leak test.

8. Close the flow audit adapter on inlet.

9. Press Start F2.

10. Choose External F1 and Yes F1 if flow adapter and screen filter are in place.

11. If <25mmHg then test passed.  If test failed create new Track Ops operation ticket on issue.

12. Take off the screen magazine and replace with the left side sample magazine.  Connect the pressure tube to the bottom of the magazine.

13. Push Filter Advance F4.  This inserts today’s sample back into the sample position and moves the screen filter out.  Catch the screen filter and put back into the screen filter magazine.

14. Return the right side collector magazine.

15. Note “Time out” (if this exceeds 1 hour than filter must be marked as partial sample)

16. Press Run/Stop to get back to run mode.
