5400 Door Filter Element Cleaning

Purpose:  Follow the procedure below to clean the front air intake filters.

Required Equipment:  Gloves

                                          Flat Blade Screwdriver

Reference:  Section 3: Service Procedures Page 3-16.

1. Snap off the covers enclosing the air intake filters on the front panel of the instrument.

2. Take out the filters, and clean them by tapping them. If they are covered with a sticky coating, wash them out with a mild soap solution and water.

3. Shake filters and allow drying if they were washed in liquid.

4. Reinstall the filters in their holders and reinstall the covers re- removed moved in step 2 above.
